Exhibition “Berlin baut Zukunft – Ökologische Gebäudekonzepte”

SAVE THE DATE!

We`ve been invited to participate within the exhibition “Berlin baut Zukunft – Ökologische Gebäudekonzepte”.

Our special thanks goes to the Senate Department for Urban Development and the Environment Berlin for initiating and organizing this event.

The exhibition will run from October 5th – November 27th, at  Senate Department for Urban Development and the Environment Berlin, Lichthof, Am Köllnischen Park 3, 10179 Berlin.

Roof Water Farm and Top Farmers invite you to an aquaponics-doityourself-workshop!

The workshop is open for practitioners from urban design, planning, urban development, art and engineering. Together with the Top Farmers we will mediate basics of  the technology, the challenges in urban design and we will create an aquaponic system in pocket format.

The workshop will take place in the greenhouse of August-Sander-Berufsschule, Persiusstraße 9 in, 10245 Berlin: www.topfarmers.de.

Save the Date! ROOF WATER FARM meets Little Wood: “On an empty lot on Invalidenstrasse, Little Wood, a temporary garden (…) has sprouted. Little Wood is a comprehensive experiment in the exploration and sensory experience of urban nature.”

We will present our vision and current research in collaboration with partners from research, art & design.

The farm was crowded: Impressions from our strawberry celebration

We had a lot of guests at our strawberry celebration, thanks a lot for visiting us!

June 11th we want to invite you to enjoy the smell of  the strawberry with us!

We will open our test site in the yard of Bernburger Straße 22, 10963 Berlin-Kreuzberg. It will be possible to taste our research. Follow with us “the flow of the process water from the pipe through the greywater treatment passing the fish farm, the strawberry and salad fields …”.

We will inform you about our current research and opportunities for building-integrated water treatment systems to irrigate and fertilize roof-top greenhouses!

Richtfest // Pre-Opening

January 20 2014 we`ve celebrated the completion of the cubature of the greenhouse, main part of our test site, with a small pre-opening. In spring the inner life of the research facility will be comprehensible and visible.
